Job Description: As an Experienced Vehicle Technician, you’ll be a key member of our client’s workshop team, independently performing complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicles meet the highest safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities of an Experienced Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine services like oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise and fostering team development.
  • Execute complex repair tasks efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organised work area, ensuring proper care of tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers, providing detailed repair updates and maintenance recommendations.
Flexible Working Options:
  • Work 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible schedules to suit individual needs.
  • Options for a four-day week or varied shifts, including weekends, are available.
  • Family-friendly flexibility for candidates with personal commitments, with adjustable schedules.
Requirements:
  • Extensive automotive repair experience with advanced diagnostic skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and a strong track record in vehicle maintenance.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality.
