Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic requred in Guildford!
  • Salary: Up to £42,500 Basic + £50,000 OTE + Time & Half Overtime
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, with Saturdays on a rotational basis 8:30am – 12:30pm, paid at overtime)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a reputable franchised car dealership in Guildford. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring high customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated technician looking to advance their career within a respected dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing vehicles – performing checks and maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnosing faults and repairing or replacing defective parts and components
  • Advising Vehicle Service Receptionists on repair requirements
  • Providing accurate time estimates for repairs and servicing
  • Maintaining comprehensive repair and service records
  • Testing repaired systems and ensuring vehicle safety and functionality
  • Carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician Role:
  • Valid driving licence
  • Own tools essential
  • Solid work history following apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance
  • Preferably based within or able to regularly travel to Guildford area 
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
