Service Technician Needed, in Stockport:
  • Salary: Up to £31,000 + bonus (OTE £33,000)
Our client, a fast-growing national automotive company, is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that values its employees, offers excellent training and development opportunities, and provides a supportive and friendly working environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Service Vehicle Technician:
  • Service, maintain, and repair vehicles to a high standard
  • Carry out fast fit tyre fitting, wheel alignment and adjustments
  • Fit brakes, exhausts, cam belts, clutches, and other mechanical components
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies
  • Advise customers and management of any additional faults found
What We’re Looking For in a Service Technician?:
  • NVQ Level 2-3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Experience in tyre fitting, brakes, cam belts, clutches, and exhaust fitting
  • Full valid UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience in a professional workshop environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and continually improve
