Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealer group operating across South and West Wales, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their successful team in Aberystwyth. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of vehicle service and repair, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards
  • Accurately diagnose faults, report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Service Manager
  • Ensure all work complies with quality procedures and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy dealership environment
  • Work efficiently to meet targets and contribute to team success
  • Support the Service Department in providing excellent customer service
Candidate Specification
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum
  • At least ½ year practical experience post-qualification is preferred
  • Able to accurately diagnose faults and perform repairs to high-standard
  • Owns a UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Located in or near Aberystwyth or willing to commute reasonably
  • A dedicated, team-oriented individual with a professional attitude
  • Motivated to develop their skills through manufacturer and internal training
  • Capable of delivering quality work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
