MOT Tester / Service Technician Vacancy – Langport, Somerset
  • Up to £40,000 basic salary depending on experience. 
  • Working hours - 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester / Service Technician to join our established garage in Langport, Somerset. This is a full-time, permanent role offering an excellent opportunity to work within a professional and supportive environment.

Responsibilities as a MOT Technician:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards and regulations
  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Accurately complete job cards, service records, and associated documentation
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times
  • Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Requirements for the MOT Technician Position:
  • Current MOT Testing licence (Class 4; Class 7 desirable)
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
