  • Position: SMART Repairer
  • Location: Bedford
  • Basic Salary: £33,500 + Bonus
  • OTE: Circa £39,500
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (flexibility on hours)
  • Optional Saturdays paid as ovetime 
My client is a prestige dealership in Bedford, dedicated to providing top-notch automotive services. Their team is committed to excellence, and they pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

They are looking for an experienced SMART Repairer to join their busy workshop. As part of a close-knit and friendly team, your primary responsibility, reporting directly to the Bodyshop Manager, will be to conduct minor repairs and apply paintwork to customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out minor body repairs and paintwork to a high standard.
  • Perform SMART repairs on panels, bumpers, and alloy wheels.
  • Complete all work efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
  • Work closely with the Bodyshop Manager to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a SMART Repairer or in a similar role.
  • Capable of alloy wheel repairs (training can be provided if required).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications within the trade preferred but willingness to look at time-served candidates 
Benefits:
  • Basic salary of £33,500 + performance-related bonuses (circa £6,000).
  • Flexible working hours – early starts or extended shifts available.
  • Optional Saturday overtime, paid at an enhanced rate.
  • Full training provided for alloy and diamond-cut refurbishments.
  • All tools and equipment supplied on-site.
