  • Basic Salary: £40,000 + Bonus (£45,000+ OTE)
  • 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Our client, a reputable family-run accident repair centre based in Southampton, is currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their team. The successful Panel Beater will be responsible for carrying out crash repairs, including cutting and welding quarters and rear panels, and working with vehicle jigs to ensure precise restoration.

This is a crucial role for the business, helping customers get their cars back on the road swiftly and to a high standard. The workshop boasts a friendly environment with well-equipped facilities, supporting quality workmanship.

Our client normally works with high-quality repair techniques and expects their team to deliver consistently excellent repairs. They are seeking a skilled Panel Beater with the ability to handle challenging crash repairs efficiently.

Duties of a Panel Beater with our Client:
  • Carrying out crash repairs, including cutting and welding new panels and quarters.
  • Mounting and pulling on vehicle jigs to restore vehicle frames to manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensuring repairs meet high-quality standards and rectifying imperfections as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
  • Reporting any faults with tools or equipment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
What our client expects of their Panel Beater:
  • Ideally NVQ Level 3 in Panel Beating or equivalent qualification, time served considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in crash repairs and jig work.
  • Own set of relevant tools for collision repairs.
  • Proven ability to handle complex panel repairs competently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good team player with effective communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
