HGV Technician Needed in Manchester
  • Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
  • Working Hours: 4 on / 4 off – Night Shift (6pm–6am)
  • Salary: Up to £53,500 + bonus
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading dealer group now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to strengthen their team.

Key Responsibilities for HGV Technician:
  • Maintain and repair trucks, lorries, and other heavy commercial vehicles
  • Deliver high-quality service to customers within a defined area
  • Diagnose faults, carry out tests, and undertake all maintenance and repair work
  • Complete all relevant paperwork for warranty, contract, and retail work
  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce customer downtime
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV Maintenance
  • Previous experience in servicing, repair, and maintenance of HGVs
  • Manufacturer training or up-to-date technical knowledge (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail with an organised, methodical approach
  • Full UK driving licence (LGV/PSV advantageous)
