Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + OTE exceeding £40,000
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading car supermarket groups, now looking for an experienced Diagnostic / General Master Vehicle Technician to join their team. Key Responsibilities for the Diagnostic / General Master Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify issues efficiently and accurately.
- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
- Complete detailed service records and communicate findings clearly with colleagues and customers.
- Keep up to date with the latest diagnostic technologies and repair techniques through regular training.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience, with both mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Experience with hybrid and EV systems – IMI EV/Hybrid qualification highly desirable.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and strong teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
