- Basic Salary Negotiable
- 4-on-4 off Shift Pattern 6am - 6:30pm
- Our client is seeking applications from HGV Technicians with a Level 3 qualification or equivalent skillset
- Work for a large fleet and logistics company with hundreds of vehicles
- Help shape the direction of a client expanding an existing part of its operation
What will the successful HGV Technician do?
- Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
- Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.
- General mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Complete job cards and service sheets accurately.
- Display excellent customer service.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- This is largely trailer work although you will be working on a range of commercial vehicles.
- A Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) or equivalent skill level.
- HGV Class 1 license preferred although not essential.
- The ability to work to a high standard.
- Significant workshop experience.
- The ability to work well in an independent setting.
- A can do attitude.
- An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
- Full UK Drivers Licence.
