Workshop Controller – Permanent Role
  • Based in Glasgow
  • Basic Salary up to £40,000 doe
  • Bonus Scheme Available – OTE Up to £48,000+
  • Full-Time – 45 Hours per Week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and high-performing dealership in Glasgow. This position is ideal for a Senior Technician or existing Workshop Controller ready to take full responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
  • Allocate work to technicians based on skill set and availability
  • Monitor repair progress and update service reception to maintain excellent customer communication
  • Maintain workshop productivity, quality control, and adherence to health and safety policies
  • Coach and support the technician team to achieve performance targets
  • Assist with complex technical issues when required
  • Liaise with parts and service departments to streamline workflow
Requirements for this Workshop Controller role:
  • Previous experience in a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician role
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical team
  • Confident with workshop systems – Kerridge/Keyloop experience an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
