Van Technician – Leicester Main Dealer 
  • Starting wage: £17-18 per hour (rising to £20-21 after diagnostic training)
  • £47,000 Average earnings with shift allowance and Saturdays (£54,000 after training)
  • Additional overtime available at time and a half.
  • Rotating 2-week shift pattern:
  • Week 1: 06:00–15:30 (Monday–Friday)
  • Week 2: 14:00–00:00 (Mon–Thurs) / 14:30–22:00 (Fri)
  • 2 Saturdays per month paid at time and a half rate. 
  • 15% late-shift premium applied to afternoon/evening weeks
  • Ongoing IRTEC and Manufacturer training provided.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking to join a supportive, professional workshop environment. You will carry out a range of maintenance, repair and diagnostic work on a variety of vehicles, ensuring the highest standards are met every time.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and fault diagnostics
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic systems and technology
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workshop culture
About You

We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems. You will be confident diagnosing and repairing a range of faults and take pride in delivering excellent work.

You’ll need:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Experience in a workshop or dealership environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
