Salary: £27,000 Basic; £31,000 OTE
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no Saturdays)
Holiday: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
Our client, a well-established main dealer in Telford, is looking for a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service and working in a busy, dynamic workshop environment.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicles are serviced and maintained efficiently. You will liaise with technicians, manage bookings, and provide accurate updates and estimates to customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Booking in vehicles and scheduling work in line with workshop capacity.
- Providing customers with updates on vehicle progress and expected completion times.
- Preparing estimates, job cards, and invoices.
- Handling customer enquiries and ensuring a high standard of service at all times.
- Maximising aftersales opportunities through the promotion of service plans and additional work.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or garage environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Confident using workshop management systems and IT tools.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify and promote additional services.
- Competitive salary plus monthly commission (up to £350).
- Monday to Friday – no Saturday working.
- 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
