Duties of the MET Technician:
  • Conduct high-quality mechanical, electrical, and body repairs on HGV and commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Ensure repairs meet quality standards and company guidelines
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly for all repairs and inspections
Requirements of this MET Technician role should possess:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician, Auto Electrician, or in a similar role within the commercial vehicle sector.
  • Knowledge of HGV systems and electrical diagnostics
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance or electrical work
