- Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
- Holidays: 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in automotive customer service and administration to develop their career within the motor trade.
Role Responsibilities for a Service Advisor:
- Greet customers and handle enquiries regarding their vehicles.
- Advise customers on required services or repairs based on mileage, time, and cost.
- Schedule service appointments and manage daily workshop bookings.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records, both electronically and in service history books.
- Prepare and explain repair estimates, invoices, and payment details.
- Keep customers updated on vehicle progress, costs, and completion times.
- Promote additional services and products while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction.
- Process customer payments and ensure billing accuracy.
- Support the Service Department with administrative duties.
- Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming service area.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience (required)
- At least 2 years of administrative experience (required)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong computer literacy and attention to detail
- A proactive and reliable attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous motor trade or service reception experience (preferred but not essential)
