We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced HGV Technicians to join their brand-new commercial vehicle workshop in Wellingborough.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new site launch from day one, working with all-new equipment in a modern, purpose-built facility. If you’re a skilled HGV Technician who takes pride in quality, safety, and teamwork, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Responsibilities as a HGV Technician:
  • Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and other commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and complete repairs to DVSA standards
  • Work both independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Assist with road-based repairs and breakdowns where required
  • Maintain accurate records, paperwork and warranty claims
Requirements for the HGV Technician Role:
  • Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI) in HGV Maintenance & Repair
  • Full UK driving licence (Class One advantageous)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
  • MOT Licence beneficial but not essential
