- Working Hours: 40 hours per week – availability required between 6am and midnight (no more than 50% of weekends per year; if you work a weekend, you work the full weekend)
Key Responsibilities of a Roadside Vehicle Technician:
- Deliver expert roadside mechanical repair and diagnostics
- Respond to breakdowns efficiently, providing safe and effective roadside solutions
- Diagnose faults on various vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools
- Carry out emergency repairs including battery, tyre, and minor mechanical fixes
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to deliver first-class service
- Work independently and make confident, effective decisions on the roadside
- Qualified to Level 2 or above in Light Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Strong technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- A customer-focused approach and excellent communication abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Confidence working under pressure and adapting to varied challenges
- Competitive basic salary of £35,000 + realistic OTE of £60,000+
