Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator Needed in Preston 
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (Saturday rota)
  • Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE (basic + bonus, DOE)
Our client, a leading and well-established Bodyshop Group, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join their professional team in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organisation known for its commitment to quality, efficiency, and staff development. You will work alongside a skilled team of four VDA professionals within a modern, well-equipped repair centre.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Inspect and assess damaged vehicles, identifying repair methods and accurately estimating costs and timeframes
  • Prepare and complete detailed repair estimates using Autoflow and Audatex systems
  • Liaise effectively with customers, insurers, and internal teams to ensure smooth repair authorisation and workflow
  • Monitor the repair process to ensure work is completed to manufacturer and insurance standards
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records while ensuring compliance with company and industry procedures
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within a Bodyshop environment
  • Proficiency in Audatex (essential) and familiarity with Autoflow systems (advantageous)
  • Strong repair method knowledge with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs effectively
  • ATA VDA accreditation preferred but not essential
