MET Technician Needed, in Manchester:
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (no weekends)
  • Salary: Up to £56,300 basic | OTE £60,000
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading accident repair franchises, now looking for a skilled MET Technician to strengthen their team in one of their busiest North West sites. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised business offering stability, progression, and an excellent working environment.

Key Responsibilities for an MET Technician:
  • Remove and refit vehicle components to manufacturer standards
  • Check and identify additional damage or required parts and liaise with the Vehicle Damage Assessor
  • Store displaced parts correctly and safely for refitting
  • Ensure repaired and painted vehicles are reassembled carefully, maintaining alignment and tolerances
  • Follow all company and H&S policies, keeping tools and equipment maintained
What We’re Looking For in an MET Technician:
  • Level 3 / ATA / IMI qualification (essential) Proven experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim disciplines within a bodyshop or accident repair setting
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Welding or panel repair experience is advantageous
