Diagnostic Technician Needed in Stockport
  • Location: Stockport
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm (45 hours, no weekends)
  • Salary: Up to £42,000 basic – £49,000 OTE
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading dealer groups, now looking for a skilled Diagnostic Technician to strengthen their busy workshop in Stockport.

Key Responsibilities for Diagnostic Technician:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Carry out software updates and vehicle programming as required
  • Liaise with Service Advisors and customers to explain technical issues clearly
  • Support and mentor junior technicians when required
What We’re Looking For in a Diagnostic Technician:
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic or Senior Technician
  • Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to interpret technical data and diagnostic reports
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving licence essential
