- Location: Bolton
- Salary: £15,000 per annum + bonus
- Working Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible days), 9am – 5pm (with 1-hour lunch)
- Hybrid Working: Up to 2 days per week from home
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit warranty claims promptly and accurately using technicians' reports, ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
- Effectively negotiate with warranty providers and manufacturers to maximise recoveries and secure rightful reimbursements.
- Prepare and process invoices related to warranty work, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Manage job cards, file documentation, and perform administrative duties related to warranty claims.
- Follow up on outstanding warranty invoices, improving recovery rates through proactive communication.
- Maintain precise records within our Dealer Management System (DMS) and Excel to ensure all warranty data is current and accurate.
- Promote best practices across the regional network to optimise claim success rates.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, the Parts Manager, Accounts team, and the Head of Business, fostering effective teamwork and communication.
- Proven experience as a Warranty Manager, Warranty Administrator, or in a similar position within automotive aftersales.
- Confident in resolving warranty disputes professionally and fairly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across face-to-face, phone, email, and live chat interactions.
- Hands-on experience with warranty systems and dealer management software (such as Kerridge, ADP Autoline, CDK Drive, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of prioritising tasks effectively.
- Competitive basic salary of £15,000 plus performance bonuses.
