Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established auto service team in Chelmsford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated motor trade professional looking to progress within a reputable dealership. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering quality service to customers while working in a supportive and professional environment.

- Competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm with a one-hour lunch break
- Standard company pension scheme
- Holiday entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays, with options to increase holidays for experienced technicians, up to a maximum of 25 days
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues with precision
- Performing scheduled maintenance and service work in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Conducting vehicle inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards
- Advising customers on necessary repairs and recommended maintenance
- Keeping accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or higher, with relevant skills and expertise
- Full driving licence essential
- Own toolkit required for the role
- Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
