A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a New/Used Car Sales Executive at our client's franchise-approved car dealership in Bristol.

Reporting to the Sales Controller and working alongside two other salespeople in the department, you will be required to sell new and used vehicles ranging from compact city cars to electric cargo vans and everything in between. This will predominantly involve interacting with customers in a showroom-based environment; however, you will also proactively contact potential leads (both retail and business customers) to convert them into new customers and, on occasion, attend networking events.

You will also sell and assist in the sale of add-ons and accessories, finance/insurance products and extended warranties to reach and exceed targets. You will be required to keep customers informed of the delivery progress of their vehicles and advise customers of any delays that may occur.

You will be required to resolve any queries which may arise and collect payment from customers before releasing the vehicle. You must explain vehicle warranties and service arrangements, introduce the customer to the Service Department where possible, demonstrate the features of the vehicle and offer any other support that may be required.

Do you need previous car or van sales experience? In short, no!
 
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have strong and successful new/used vehicle sales experience (preferably within a franchise-approved dealer environment); however, our client is very open to considering personnel with no prior vehicle sales experience but a strong track record in sales/customer service alongside a positive attitude, looking to undertake a new challenge.

Overall, you will need to have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for our client and the vehicles they sell. You will need to be brand-focused, capable of working independently and have the energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential.
