Technician / MOT Tester Vacancy - Independent Garage Northampton
  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (overtime available)
  • No Weekends

We’re working with a well-respected Independent Garage in Northampton that’s on the lookout for a Vehicle Technician to join their growing team.

With a modern 5-ramp workshop and dedicated MOT bay, they’re investing in their people and providing long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles
  • Conducting diagnostics and fault finding using the latest equipment
  • Performing MOT tests 
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer specifications
  • Working collaboratively with the service team to meet customer expectations
Benefits:
  • Basic salary £35,000 – £40,000+ depending on experience
  • Bonus structure based on experience and performance
  • No weekend working – Monday to Friday only.
  • Overtime available
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Technician (Level 3 preferred)
  • MOT Licence 
  • A strong team player with solid diagnostic and repair skills
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and values excellent customer service
