  • Basic Salary up to £45,000 Depending on Experience
  • OTE up to c. £50,000
  • 40-hour week – Monday to Friday (8am–5:30pm)

We are seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent workshop in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for technicians in varying stages of their careers looking to take on a new role, with excellent earnings and career progression on offer.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Senior Technicians will lead diagnostic and complex repair work across a wide range of vehicles.
  • Support and mentor junior technicians if joining as a Master Technician, assisting with fault finding and technical issues.
  • Otherwise, carry out routine servicing, repairs, and MOT testing.
  • Ensure manufacturer and industry repair methods are followed.
  • Work closely with the workshop team to maintain high standards and efficiency.
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Fully qualified to Level 3 (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) or have the equivalent skill level.
  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment.
  • MOT Tester licence desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to gel into a closely-knit workshop team.
