Are you an experienced Mobile Diagnostic Technician seeking a new challenge? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable family-run business that specialises in mobile diagnostics and ADAS calibrations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering on-site services, helping customers save time and transportation costs while working with the latest vehicle technology.

Duties of the Mobile Diagnostic Technician:
  • Carrying out ADAS calibrations on front and rear cameras, radars, lidars, parking sensors, and more in line with manufacturers’ specifications
  • Conducting advanced diagnostic programming and fault diagnosis using dealership level diagnostic tools
  • Travelling to customer locations across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas to perform calibration and diagnostic work
  • Working safely on electric vehicles, including high voltage shutdowns and startups
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and communicating effectively with clients
  • Supporting the team with any additional technical tasks as required
Candidate requirements for the Mobile Diagnostic Technician:
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working within a main dealership environment or similar setting
  • Level 3 Motor Vehicle Qualification or equivalent
  • Clean and valid UK driving licence
  • Comfortable working independently and methodically diagnosing faults
  • Strong communication skills and professional approach when engaging with customers
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to travel to multiple locations
  • Experience with aftermarket diagnostic tools desired but full training in ADAS equipment will be provided
  • Knowledge and experience working on electric vehicles advantageous but not essential
