Vehicle Technician in Bolton 
  • Location: Bolton
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week + Saturday morning overtime
  • Salary: Up to £44,000 OTE
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established motor group, now looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians and MOT Testers to strengthen their growing aftersales team.

Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Road test vehicles and diagnose faults
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and inspections to manufacturer standards
  • Complete MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations (where qualified)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and job cards
  • Work within agreed timeframes while maintaining high productivity
  • Collaborate with service advisors and parts teams to ensure excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
  • MOT licence (desirable but not essential for technician-only applications)
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Full UK driving licence
