  • Basic Salary: £32,000 + Bonus 
  • OTE: £45,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am - 1:00pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a long-established, family-run dealership on a large, well-equipped site.

This role offers stability, a supportive Aftersales environment, and the chance to lead a high-performing workshop team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage workshop resources to achieve financial and operational goals while maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure clear, effective communication between the workshop and Front of House teams.
  • Lead, coach and develop the workshop team to enhance performance and output.
  • Handle customer complaints and oversee workshop returns professionally.
  • Supervise workflow to maximise productivity, efficiency and utilisation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment in line with Health & Safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and exemplary customer service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a main-dealer workshop is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge to support and guide a team of technicians.
  • Customer-focused with a drive to exceed expectations.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
