Vehicle Technician Needed in Stockport
  • Location: Stockport
  • Working Hours: Full-time, flexible working options considered
  • Salary: £35,000 basic, up to £50,000 OTE
We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected automotive group, now looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to strengthen their workshop team.

Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out high-quality maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify faults, wear or required repairs.
  • Provide clear technical advice when required
  • Deliver excellent customer service to support retention and trust
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, workshop control and fellow technicians.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
  • Dealership experience preferred (Level 2 with strong background considered)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, able to meet efficiency targets
  • MOT licence advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
