Vehicle Technician – Newark
  • Basic: Up to £38,000
  • OTE: £40,000+
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30am - 1:30pm
  • Optional overtime
A well-established local garage is looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to the team. You’ll be joining a busy workshop with a solid customer base, supporting an apprentice and working alongside two hands-on senior team members. This hire will allow the owner to step back from the tools, so reliability, capability and a positive attitude are key.

What’s in it for you:
  • Up to £38,000 basic salary
  • 39-hour working week
  • 4.5 days: Mon–Thu 08:30–17:30, Fri 08:30–13:30
  • Optional Saturday mornings

What you’ll be doing:
  • Diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Servicing and general mechanical repair
  • Clutches, cambelts and more in-depth jobs
  • Maintaining high workshop standards and customer satisfaction
What we’re looking for:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (preffered)
  • Confident across diagnostics, servicing and mechanical repair
  • Experience with clutches, cambelts, and heavier work preferred
