Vehicle Technician Needed in Stockport
  • Location: Stockport
  • Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, day shifts only. Overtime available, paid at time and a half.
  • Salary: Up to £37,000 basic – up to £43,000 OTE
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, now looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to strengthen their team at their newly refurbished Stockport branch.

Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles to ensure safety and legal compliance for customer hire.
  • Carry out diagnostics and repairs across all vehicle types in the fleet.
  • Perform regular checks and ensure all documentation is correctly completed.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain high standards of service and repair.
  • Ensure efficient service delivery with quick turnaround in a modern, well-equipped workshop.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 2 Qualified Technician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic.
  • Strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally within a commercial or fleet environment.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
