Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity with a reputable employer in Hoddesdon? We are representing our client who is looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent chance to work within a professional team and enjoy a competitive salary package along with ongoing career development.

Benefits of the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Competiteve basic salary of up to £46,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday only working hours 8am - 6pm.
  • Overtime paid at x1.25 the standard rate for optional weekend work
  • Work in a well-supported team of technicians
Duties for the Vehicle Technician include:
  • Servicing and inspecting a variety of vehicles, including Ford Rangers, Connects, and Transits
  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
  • Performing general repairs, brakes, tyres, and oil services
  • Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues upon vehicle return
  • Managing a high volume of vehicles efficiently, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Candidate criteria for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to perform repairs confidently
  • Knowledge of Ford commercial vehicles is beneficial
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
  • Full UK driving license
