Roadside Vehicle Technician Needed in Oldham 
  • Location: Oldham / Bury
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with two shift options available:
  • Normal Hours: Standard shift pattern with fewer unsociable hours
  • Flexi Hours: Shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, offering higher earning potential.
  • Salary: Up to £48,700 basic salary + OTE up to £54,000
Weekend working is capped at 50% of the year (full weekend on / full weekend off). In practice, weekend working is typically much less.

Our client, the UK’s leading breakdown service provider, is seeking skilled and dedicated Roadside Vehicle Technicians to join their growing Roadside Patrol team. This opportunity suits technicians who prefer either a more structured working pattern or the flexibility and enhanced earnings that come with varied shift work.

Key Responsibilities for a Roadside Vehicle Technician:
  • Respond to roadside breakdowns and provide technical support
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles, covering mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic faults
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service to members
  • Maintain a professional, safety-focused, and customer-centric approach at all times
What We’re Looking For in a Roadside Vehicle Technician?
  • Level 2 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a roadside environment
  • Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
