  • Location: Manchester
  • Working Hours: Core hours 06:00–16:00 (06:00–15:00 or 07:00–16:00 starts)
  • Salary: Basic salary circa £45,000 with OTE around £50,000 (upsell bonus)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded Accident Repair Centre in Manchester, who are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their workshop-based team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical estimating experience. Please note, this position is fully workshop-based with no remote working.

Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Damage Assessor: 
  • Carry out detailed inspections of damaged vehicles within the workshop
  • Accurately assess damage, repair methods, costs, and timescales
  • Produce clear, detailed estimates using Audatex where required
  • Identify upsell opportunities in line with repair requirements
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure repair methods are clearly understood and achievable
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Damage Assessor: 
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
  • Strong practical skills with a solid, hands-on approach to estimating
  • Audatex experience preferred
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence required
