This is a permanent Sales position working 45 hours per week, reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Manager. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate a proven track record in high-volume vehicle sales, combined with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Duties of the Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive:
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets aligned with KPIs
  • Utilise resources effectively to ensure smooth departmental operations
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships through professional and ethical interaction
  • Identify customer needs accurately and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Maximise opportunities for new business acquisition
  • Promote and upsell accessories, warranties, and financing options
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate this confidently to customers
  • Assist colleagues and support team initiatives to enhance overall performance
  • Contribute to reducing waste and improving process efficiencies
  • Stay updated with relevant FCA qualifications and regulatory compliance
Candidate criteria for this Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive position:
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Proven experience in high-volume vehicle sales
  • Full UK driving license held for at least six months with fewer than nine penalty points
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Demonstrable ability to prospect and convert profitable business
  • Strong self-management with proactive ownership of responsibilities
  • Resilience, motivation, and a commitment to personal development
  • Ability to understand and meet both customer and business needs
