Vehicle Technician Vacancy in Corby - Independent Garage 
  • Location: Corby
  • Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience) 
  • Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
  • 1 in 2 Saturday Mornings 
We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, highly regarded independent service and repair centre in Corby. This role is open to Service / Repair Technicians through to more experienced Diagnostic Technicians, with salary and responsibilities tailored to your experience.

You’ll be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop with multiple ramps, MOT bays, and electric/hybrid vehicle facilities, as part of a friendly, close-knit team with approachable management!

Depending on your experience, the role will include some or all of the following:
  • Routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
  • Diagnostic checks and fault finding
  • Cam belt, clutch, and turbo replacements
  • Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) and accurate use of the Garage Management System
  • Liaising with Service Advisors and customers where required
  • Completing work to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair 
  • Minimum 3 years’ workshop experience preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Confident with service and repair work; strong diagnostics skills advantageous
  • MOT Tester qualification beneficial but not essential
  • Own tools required (specialist tools and diagnostics provided)
  • Hybrid/Electric vehicle experience an advantage

  • Basic salary up to £40,000, depending on experience
