Vehicle Technician Required In Coventry
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 + Saturday mornings 08:30 – 13:30
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A busy independent garage in Warwickshire is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. The workshop currently has three technicians and is expanding due to sustained demand. This is a hands-on role working on a wide range of vehicles, covering everything from routine servicing to complex mechanical repairs.

This role is ideal for a Level 3 or time-served technician who enjoys problem-solving, diagnosing faults, and maintaining high standards in a busy, friendly workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out servicing and repairs across a variety of vehicles
  • Perform complex mechanical work including brakes, timing belts, gaskets, gearboxes, and clutches
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
  • Maintain workshop standards and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with the existing team to manage workflow and meet deadlines
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance or time-served equivalent
  • Proven experience handling complex mechanical repairs
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Stable work history and a team-focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence
