We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled Panel Beater for their busy operation in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join a reputable team and work on a variety of commercial vehicle repairs.

Duties of this Panel Beater role:
- Repair and straighten damaged panels on heavy trucks and commercial vans
- Write up comprehensive job sheets detailing repair work and required parts
- Work closely with the bodyshop team to ensure repairs meet quality standards
- Prepare vehicles for spraying, stripping, and rebuilding as required
- Assist in vehicle assessments and provide technical expertise during repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure jobs are completed within estimated times
- Work alongside a team of experienced technicians and apprentices to support ongoing workflow
Candidate requirements for this Panel Beater role:
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater within the commercial vehicle sector
- Knowledge of heavy truck and van body repairs
- Ability to read and interpret job sheets and technical diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is highly desirable
- Clean driving licence is essential; HGV licence is not a necessity but preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Own tools are preferred; supply of larger tools will be provided
