Vehicle Technician / Engineer - Engine Specialist Required in Wimbledon 
  • Pay: £40 - £45k Basic DOE
  • Hours: 8.30 - 6pm Monday - Friday 
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician with a passion for engine work? We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Wimbledon for a dedicated Vehicle Technician - Engine Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing fleet company that values skilled professionals like you. If you have a background in engine rebuilds, timing chains, engine swaps, and diagnostics, this is the position for you.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician - Engine Specialist include:
  • Carrying out engine rebuilds, repairs, and replacements on petrol and diesel vehicles
  • Performing timing chain repairs, engine swaps, and engine diagnostics
  • Conducting suspension, brake, and general service work during quieter periods
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Working with a team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of services
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician - Engine Specialist role:
  • Proven experience as a Motor Engineer or Technician specialising in engine repairs
  • Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engines
  • Ability to perform engine rebuilds, swaps, and timing chain work
  • Diagnostic skills and experience with modern engine management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays if needed
  • Clean driving license is preferred
