Duties of the Service Advisor role include:
  • Welcoming customers and identifying their vehicle service needs
  • Providing timely updates throughout the service process
  • Advising customers on additional work needed and selling relevant services
  • Working closely with workshop teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Preparing and presenting cost estimates for repairs and maintenance
  • Finalising invoices and processing payments
  • Supporting team members to maintain excellent standards of customer care
Requirements for the Service Advisor role:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership environment
  • Knowledge of Kerridge or similar management systems
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle repairs
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Confidence in estimating and evaluating vehicle repairs
