Vehicle Service Technician / Haverfordwest
  • Salary: Around £28,500 per annum plus performance-related monthly bonus scheme.
  • Hours: 42.5 per week over a guaranteed 5-day week. Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 2 Sat 8:00am-4:00pm (day off in the week when you work a Sat).

Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Service Technician to join their centre in Haverfordwest.
 
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, your responsibilities shall include:
  • Accurate tyre repairs and tyre fitting to all makes of vehicles.
  • Completing routine maintenance & service repair work. 
  • Perform repairs when required, providing quality workmanship at all times, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
  • Completing brake, exhaust and suspension changes and maintenance along with wheel alignment and tyre fitting on cars and LCVs/Vans
  • To maintain accurate documentation in line with our client's policies and procedures
  • Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
  • Help our client maintain its industry-leading standards.
To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Haverfordwest and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Service Technician, either from experience gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly and approachable manner, given that you shall occasionally assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries and be able to produce high-quality work within specified time frames. A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential. 

For your hard work as a Vehicle Service Technician, our client is offering:
  • Around £28,500 starting annual salary, pending experience and qualifications.
