  • Pay: £40 - £45k Basic DOE + Salary Review after 4 weeks working
  • Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday + Breaks
Join a reputable family-run all makes and models service centre in Guildford as a Vehicle Diagnostic Technician. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their committed team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to specialise in diagnostics and work within a busy, customer-focused environment.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary between £40,000 and £45,000 depending on experience
  • Salary review after the first 4 weeks of probation
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8am to 4.30pm with scheduled breaks

Duties:
  • Conduct high-level diagnostics on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Identify faults accurately using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools
  • Perform repairs related to engine management systems, glow plugs, and emission-related issues
  • Develop effective solutions and communicate findings to clients
  • Prioritise diagnostic jobs to ensure speed and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Complete all work within the workshop standards and processes
candidate spec:
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Master Technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to explain vehicle faults clearly to customers
  • Up-to-date knowledge of all makes and models, especially non-BMW and Audi brands
  • Full driving licence
  • Willingness to take on varied workshop tasks and adapt to busy periods
