Are you an experienced Mobile Service Technician seeking a flexible and rewarding opportunity within the motor trade? We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable dealer group for a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join their dynamic team covering the Croydon, Kingston and surrounding area. This role offers the chance to work independently across diverse locations, with the potential to earn up to £45,000 annually. Duties involved as a Mobile Service Technician:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to ensure safety and performance
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately, providing timely resolutions
  • Perform roadside and on-site repairs to minimise vehicle downtime for customers
  • Complete routine inspections, fluid checks, and part replacements as part of scheduled maintenance
  • Offer technical advice to customers, explaining repairs and options clearly and professionally
  • Schedule maintenance visits with customers and communicate progress effectively
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed, parts used, and customer interactions
  • Adhere to safety and environmental standards at all times during mobile repairs
Candidate criteria for the Mobile Service Technician role:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician, with electric vehicle qualification a distinct advantage
  • Extensive experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Proficient in preventative maintenance and scheduled service tasks
  • Comfortable working independently across various locations throughout London
  • Excellent customer communication and service skills
  • Full UK driving licence and valid insurance for the mobile workshop van
  • Resides within commuting distance of Croydon, Kingston and willing to travel across the city
