  • Salary: £30,000 basic salary with £50,000+ uncapped on-target earnings.
  • Hours: 45.5 hours a week across Mon – Sat with a day off in lieu during the week and no Sundays required except for during the March and September months.

A rare and not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Business Manager at our client's franchise approved car dealership in Gloucester.

As a Business Manager your key responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitate the selling of vehicles and maximise profitability through the sale of finance solutions and insurance to customers.
  • Oversee the sales process, ensuring all sales activities are systematically managed, including direct negotiation with customers if required, to ensure that deals retain maximum profit and that customer satisfaction is delivered to the highest possible standards.
  • Control and monitor customer database, ensuring that all information is being entered, updated, and used correctly and in line with brand requirements.
  • Offer coaching and training, where required, and ensure that all Sales Executives remain aware of current and relevant consumer law, market conditions and competitors' activity.
  • Conduct and participate in the Sales Executive performance management process in collaboration with the Sales Manager, including monthly and annual performance reviews, induction, and personal development support.
To be eligible, you will ideally live within a reasonable daily commuting distance of Gloucester and have strong recent experience as a Business Manager or at a similar or higher level within a franchise-approved car dealership. Our client is also open to considering Car Sales Executives looking to take the next step in their career provided they have several years of experience in car sales, a strong F&I track record, and ideally some previous supervisory experience. Career stability is essential for our client at this stage as well as a UK driving license with minimal points. Overall, you will need to have the desire to produce results, have a sound financial and commercial understanding/awareness with the ability to interpret financial and other statistical information, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships and have a genuine passion to work for our client and the brands they represent. A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential. 
 
For your hard work as a Business Manager, our client is offering:
  • £30,000 basic salary with £50,000+ uncapped on-target earnings based on sales performance.
  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.

  • Fantastic long-term career prospects with a large car dealer group established across Southwest England and South Wales.  
  • 45.5 hours a week across Mon – Sat (with a 1 hour lunch). Day off in lieu during the week and 1 late shift per week.
  • No Sundays are required except during the March and September months.
