Are you a HGV Technician seeking a rewarding role within a reputable commercial vehicle dealership? Our client, a well-established employer in the Motor Trade industry, is expanding its technical team in Bathgate and is offering the chance to work within a stable and forward-thinking environment.

The successful HGV Technician will:
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs according to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Accurately complete job cards and all related documentation
  • Maintain safety standards adhering to Health & Safety and DVSA regulations
  • Participate in rotating shift work supporting the workshop’s operational needs
  • Deliver high standards of quality and customer service in every task
The successful HGV Technician will have:
  • Fully qualified HGV Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a commercial vehicle workshop environment
  • Knowledge of DAF or similar heavy vehicle brands is desirable
  • Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Adaptability to flexible shift patterns and a team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
