  • Position: Bodyshop Polisher
  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: Up to £16 an hour (Negotiable DoE)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Bodyshop Polisher to join our busy, well-established accident repair centre in Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities:
  • De-nibbing paintwork and removing any imperfections after the vehicle comes out of the paint booth.
  • Machine polishing to achieve a high-quality, consistent finish on all vehicles.
  • Inspecting finished vehicles to ensure they meet the workshop’s high standards
  • Working efficiently and safely to maintain workflow and meet deadlines
  • Collaborating with the paint and bodyshop team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in polishing and paint finishing
  • Confidence using machine polishers and performing paint rectification tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • The ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Salary & Hours:
  • £14 - £16 per hour, with the potential to earn £17 - £18 per hour depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
  • Overtime available, paid at standard hourly rate
  • Some team members start from 5:00am, earning up to 3 hours extra pay per day.
  • Occasional Saturday overtime available
