We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive group for a dedicated Service Advisor to join their team. Key duties for the Service Advisor position include:
  • Greeting customers professionally and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
  • Providing accurate repair estimates and repair advice to customers
  • Registering new vehicles and processing service documentation efficiently
  • Preparing invoices and completing vehicle taxing procedures accurately
  • Managing customer enquiries, payments, and complaints at first contact
  • Liaising with parts and workshop teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Handling internal and external customer communications with courtesy and professionalism
  • Adhering to health and safety policies at all times
  • Managing warranty claims and vehicle service records
Candidate requirements for this Service Advisor role:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • PC literate with knowledge of administration procedures
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle after-market is advantageous
