We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established, family-run vehicle bodyshop in East Grinstead. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated automotive professional looking to work within a reputable business that values craftsmanship and offers clear career progression. Our client is seeking a Paint Sprayer who is passionate about delivering high-quality finishes and contributing to a team focused on excellence.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm working hours
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties:
  • Applying professional paint finishes to a range of vehicles, ensuring top standards of quality
  • Preparation of vehicles, including masking, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal painting conditions
  • Operating spray equipment safely and efficiently in line with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain high workmanship standards
  • Supporting vehicle inspection and quality control processes post-spray
  • Maintaining and cleaning spray equipment and work area effectively
Candidate Specification:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within vehicle bodyshops or collision repair centres
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Competence with spray guns, masking, and surface preparation
  • Good knowledge of health and safety regulations related to spray painting
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines
  • NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Refinishing or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Proactive attitude with excellent communication skills
