Are you an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge within a reputable automotive group? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership in the Fareham or Southampton area for a Service Manager to lead their busy service department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company recognised for its excellent service standards and supportive working environment.

Duties of the Service Manager:
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the service department ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate the service team to meet and exceed departmental objectives
  • Manage workshop and front-of-house team, ensuring high standards of customer care
  • Liaise with parts department to anticipate and manage repair needs
  • Ensure warranty procedures and documentation are correctly followed and maintained
  • Monitor and control consumable wastage and prevent theft
  • Resolve customer complaints with professionalism and tact
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
  • Keep up-to-date with manufacturer updates and new product information
  • Maintain high standards of departmental presentation and customer service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager within a dealership environment
  • Knowledge of Pinnacle or other DMS systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Well-organised with good attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of vehicle health checks and Aftersales processes
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, with a proactive approach to work
