Are you an experienced and reliable automotive professional seeking your next career move? We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Garage Manager position in Dorking. Key duties of the Assistant Garage Manager:
  • Assist the workshop controller in daily workshop operations

  • Oversee that cars are completed, correctly parked, and taken off-site as required
  • Prepare job cards and organise workshop workflows efficiently
  • Support a team of approximately 15 technicians to ensure smooth productivity and workshop flow
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in workshop or workshop support roles, ideally within a dealership environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable and steady operator, with a focus on maintaining workshop standards
  • Ability to work well within a team and support workshop operations
  • No specific qualifications or certifications are mandatory, but experience with workshop processes is essential
